West Allotment Ladies secured their place in the next round of the league cup with a win against New Fordley on 3G at the Blakelaw Football Hub. Allotment without their keeper and a number of others ill still had a squad of 15 to choose from. The game was one sided but to their credit Fordley never gave up and their keeper was in great form making some exellent saves. The stats showed Allotment had 46 shots and 10 corners. The passing and movement of Allotment was difficult to deal with for Fordley but produced some good goals with play often starting from the Allotment stand in keepers.
The reward is Wallsend U23s in the next round which will prove much tougher.
Allotment are also delighted to announce the reisgning of Emma Hallowell who has already starting training and will be available in the New Year.
