Allotment Sign Off In Style

West Allotment finished their home fixtures with a comprehensive win over Tow Law last night winning 4-1. The conditions very some of the worst seen at Palmerville with gusting winds and constant rain. However Allotment played some lovely football and in the first half particularly dominated. The Tow law keeper was in great form pulling off several great saves to keep the scores level . However the deadlock was eventually broken when Luke Parkingson swept the ball in from the left and Connor Campbell made a good run to head the ball home.

The second half saw Allotment add further goals, Mechack Kanda who ran the middle field all night assisted by Jake Foster hammered the ball home and then substitute Scott McCarthy added two , one from the penalty spot.

The closest Tow Law came to scoring was from a Michael Scott miskick that Dan Gladstone had to turn round the post.

It now looks like barring any freak results Allotment have achieved their highest ever finish of fifth and this is a great reward for all the players and coaching staffs hard work during this season.

On Saturday Allotment travel to Guisborough to try to avenge their biggest home defeat of the season when beaten 5-0 back in February .
