West Allotment faced league strugglers Tow Law on Saturday and dominated the game apart from a ten minute spell in the second half when Tow Law did strike the post. Callum Larmouth grabbed a hat-trick and goals from Giraud and Cockburn rounded things off.
The writing was on the wall as early as two minutes when Mickel Thompson jinked into the box and when he reached the byline the Tow Law players seemed to stop and he squared the ball for a simple tap in for Giraud. Allotment could have added many more goals but the points were never in doubt.
Allotment face rock bottom Sunderland RCA on Tuesday and would be expecting to record a similar score line to continue the push up the league.
