The Development Continues

The new base for the club at Palmerville is continuing to develop with the opening soon of the new bar and refreshment facilities. Another new stand is going to be added to house 100 standing spectators along with a PA system which will help enhance the match day experience. All the works are expected to be completed before the league season gets underway at the end of July.

On the pitch the club have a very busy pre season schedule which will enable Jay Bates and his team to assemble a strong squad to be able to compete in the First Division. All home games will also be filmed using our new VEO camera which will provide highlights and feedback for the players and coaching staff.

An official opening and naming of the new ground has yet to be announced.

West Allotment Juniors will have the chance to be ball boys/girls at home matches and this will help build the future base for Allotment. Forest Hall Juniors and West Allotment juniors will look to develop players for the future providing a route in adult football in years to come.

We await the league fixture with some excitement and a home game against either Whitley Bay or North Shields would be a bonus.
