Mixed for Girls on Saturday

Some of our girls teams started playing yesterday and it was a mixed bag of results but great to see them back on the pitch.

The U12 girls took on Ponteland at kings Playing fields and after conceding first they started to take control and a first half hatrick from Lola saw them come off at half time 3-1 up. The second half was more of the same with Kaysie grabbing another hatrick and Sophie adding the last goal. Ponteland never gave up and did pull one back FT 7-2.

The U15 girls made the short trip to North Shields for a local derby and ran out a well deserved 3-0 winners.

The U18s were at home to top of the table Blyth and after the first twenty minutes looked to be holding their own. However the lack of fitness started to show and Blyth ran out a well deserved 7-0 winners. The score could have been much worse for Allotment but for a very good debut from Eve in the Allotment goal. Eve was also given player of the match. This game was also filmed using the clubs new VEO camera but I guess the players won't be too keen to watch it back.

U12 ready for kick off and below U15s on the attack
