A vote amongst the Ladies teams in the Northumberland saw 75% vote for the league placings to be decided on average points. As West Allotment Ladies were unbeaten and had taken maximum league points off Wallsend we were crowned champions. At some point we will have a celebration event but who knows when that will be.
As far as promotion goes this is still up in the air. The FA ruling is being challenged and the NERWL lost a team towards the end of the season so may wish to boost their numbers anyway. The club would like to thank all the players for a great season in which they showed how far they have come. Next season looks bright too as more young players could break through from our U18 side.
