West Allotment Celtic FC have continued to bolster their squad ahead of the club's return to the Ebac Northern League Division 1. We are delighted to announce that experienced defender Graham Williams has joined Jay Bates' side ahead of the 2021/22 season.
It has been a busy weekend at the club in terms of incomings as Graham Williams becomes the second addition to the squad after the announcement of Regan Paterson returning to the club.
"I'm delighted to be signing for Allotment and the club are rightfully playing where they deserve to be again," Williams said.
"The few pre season sessions I have been involved in have shown me what a close-knit group of players we have and that is always a help when making the decision to sign," he added.
Manager, Jay Bates, has also talked about how thrilled he is about recruiting Graham to the squad;
"Graham is a no-nonsense centre half and can also operate at right back so he will give us strength and depth.
"I have known Graham a good few years watching him play within the Army team and when I heard he was available I was keen to get him in with the lads," Bates told us.
