In July the fun club for children aged 4-7 years old will be starting again. This has produced many of our younger teams over the years and started many children on their journey playing football. The club is based on as many touches of a football as possible and also games to improve agility, balance and coordination.
As things develop ball mastery skills are practiced and encouraged as home play.
Small sided games are also important to ensure very child has equal opportunity to move the ball and develop. From the very start we encourage players to stay on the ball and learn to keep it when under pressure. Fun and laughter are of course a huge part of every session with the children also taking ownership of some parts of the activities by making their own choices.
