Cup Final Defeat

The County Cup final ended with a predictable win for NUWFC Development and saw them lift their second trophy this season. Allotment struggled to cope with the pace and speed of the opposition but stuck at their task and never gave up. Our two stand in keeper made some good saves and were brave enough to step up for the team in what they knew would be a busy night. Hannah Dodds was our stand out player last night and was all over the pitch making tackles and trying to get us up the pitch.

A great experience for all and great credit to the squad for getting to the final in the first place in a season that has been difficult . Five league games left now and hopefully our keeper will return from injury in the next two weeks . The pictures show the squad before the game and afterwards still together smiling.
