Cumbrians Suffer First loss

On Tuesday night Carlisle City arrived at Palmerville with an unbeaten start to the season . Allotment had to make a number of changes due to injury. Larmouth was involved in an unfortunate incident with a laundry basket which sees the striker out for about four weeks. However the players on the pitch responded and Allotment played their best football of the season with Shane jones grabbing the winner. The score should have been increased but the killer touch just didn't come. A 1-0 win lifted Allotment up to 11th and this weekend they travel to Bishop Auckland which will be a tough test as Auckland have started the season really well. A home game on Tuesday against Penrith will follow. However Allotment have made two signings as they welcome back old boy Stephen Little and new striker Connor Campbell.
