During a friendly on Sunday against Bishop Auckland our midfield playmaker Chloe Flannaghan suffered concussion and is now due to FA guidelines set to miss the match away to Wallsend Reserves. Chloe typically battled on after heading the ball and eventually asked to come off feeling dizzy and sick. She told the coach she had been seeing two footballs. All of us wish her a speedy recovery.
The game itself ended up in a 3 nil defeat which didn't really reflect the play, but Bishops took their goals well. Star of the show was Libby hall saving two penalties and making two other smart saves. Jess Osborne and Elethea Thompson made their debuts from our U16 girls team. Ones for the future.
