After several weeks without playing due to postponements Allotment took all three points at bottom of the table Tow Law. In what must be the quickest goal of the season Allotment were ahead after thirty seconds when Callum Larmouth's shot was deflected into the net by a defender. Onlookers must have presumed based on Tow Law's recent form that this would be the opening of the flood gates. However to their credit Tow Law didn't fall apart and actually thought they had equalised with a quick break and nice finish on the twenty minute mark only to see the linesman flag up for off side.
The pitch was difficult for both sides but Tow Law made better use of the ball with a very direct style of counter attacking and Dan Gladstone had to make a number of saves.
The fist half that promised much ended 1-0 to Allotment.
Allotment started much better in the second half and this was rewarded on fifty minutes when from a throw on the right hand side Jake Forster picked up the ball to send in a low cross and Kyle Cockburn who had looked lively all game smashed the ball into the bottom corner to give Allotment a two nil lead.
Once again the home side responded and stayed in the game to make things difficult for Allotment and on eight-nine minutes pulled one back after Allotment headed back across their own box from a cross and Richardson was there for Tow Law the volley home.
After several stoppages due to flare ups between the players there were to be seven minutes of added time. Young Luca Shilling who came on as a sub picked up the ball on the edge of the box and drove towards goal only to be brought down and a penalty awarded . Up stepped Callum Larmouth and made it 3-1 to Allotment.
