West Allotment came from one nil down away at Garforth Town in the FA VASE to progress after a final scoreline of 3-1. The first half was a pretty even affair with both side having chances , however Allotment gave the ball away in midfield and Hussain picked up the ball and beat his man on the edge of the box to fire home into the bottom corner giving Gladstone no chance. Allotment responded well and on the stroke of half time Lowery broke down the wing and when the ball was cleared it fell to Thompson who placed a nice shot into the bottom corner to draw Allotment level.
The second half saw Allotment much more in control and after a number of corners in a row Forster got contact on one of the balls in to make it 2-1.
Allotment secured the win when Giroud picked up the box outside the box and lashed a shot against the post with Guy Bates reacting quickly to play the rebound across goal and into Brady who smashed the ball home. Brady was unlucky minutes later not to score gain as his curling shot hit the bar .
Another convincing away win , lets home Allotment can start to produce this at home as next up its high flying Birtley Town who visit Palmersville.
Clips show Thompson's equaliser and the third goal from Brady.
