West Allotment made their first visit to newly promoted Boro Rangers on Saturday in search of turning round their current form. The first half was a very scrappy affair with more stoppage time for injuries than football. Neither side had created much in the first half when on the forty five minute mark Boro shot from outside the box with the ball ping ponging around only to come off the back of an Allotment player to end up in the net.
In the second half Boro started the better with Ben Turner starting a lot of attacks down the Allotment left and it was from this that Boro extended their lead on 69 minutes when Staurt Rose received the ball from Turner and then opened up his body to send a right foot shot curling past Dan Gladstone to double the lead.
Allotment did have chances but Giraud, Bates and co just couldn't hit the target.
Shildon away next so it doesn't get any easier.
Clips show Cyril Giraud and Guy Bates going close for Allotment .
