Allotment Do Double As Campbell Grabs Hat-trick

Allotment visited Penrith in the return fixture of the previous week on a very windy day as storm Catherine swept in. Penrith kicked off the wind behind them and the first part of the game saw neither side being able to keep the ball and lots of passes running out of play. The first real chance resulted in a goal for the hosts as Allotment failed to clear a ball and Robbie Hebson picked up the ball just outside the box and hit a low crisp shot just inside Gladstone's post. The homeside was seeing more of the ball but failed to produce much at the end of any moves. The goal seemed to wake Allotment up and Giraud almost got Allotment level as his shot just went wide. On thirty seven minutes the sides were level as Campbell side footed in from eight yards out after the ball ran loose to him.

Allotment where better in the second half although Penrith had more of he ball , a number of good blocks had to be preformed by Mick Scott and Joe Robson to prevent a strikes on Gladstones goal. However a ball over the top set Campbell away who finished calmly past Reay in the Penrith goal. Campbell then added a third to claim his hat-trick with a very similar goal. That meant Allotment have now gone ten games without defeat as they look to climb the table in the last weeks of the season.

The clip show Conner Campbell scoring his second goal.
